Shelby is the best kept secret in ARPH. She is a three year old blue bi girl who is gentle, sweet and very loving. While she doesn't photograph well (it's the photographer I'm sure:) she is truly beautiful. She is about 36 pounds.
She is housebroken, crate-trained (but rarely uses it) and good with the other dogs and excellent with the cats. She is her foster mom's shadow. She sleeps next to the bed at night and sometimes her foster mom has to make her get up in the morning!
Shelby is a soft girl who wants nothing more in life than to please her people and get lots of loving in return. She drops for a belly rub in a nanosecond. She enjoys going for car rides and long walks. She really loves the car rides. She will navigate if you need it, but generally sits in the back seat taking in the sights.
She is very laid back, will play with the other dogs, can run like the wind, but is in her element cuddling and being spoiled. Shelby has not been tested with children and for that reason, we prefer an adult home or home with older children.
